Q: When did you start working on this game?

We started working on the game October 2011. We actually had to create the game engine too, so that took a lot of time, but it was well worth the effort.

Q: What kind of gameplay can players look forward to in Mother of Myth?

Players can look forward to immersive and intuitive battles. Players will be able to tap to move, swipe to attack, and create combos by performing special gestures. It’ll be quite satisfying when you defeat your enemies on combat.

The setting of Mother of Myth is Elysium (or the Elysian Fields). It takes place in the fictional time before shortly before Gigantomachy.

There is currently only one class set as of now and you can only play as male or female. You can tailor your character by picking attribute points, skills, and weapons.

Q: How long have you been working on Mother of Myth?

A little less than 2 years.

Q: Will there be Co-Op or Multiplayer?

We hope so. With the Kickstarter funding it will give us time to develop these systems, but we might not be able to dedicate enough resources if we don’t receive the funding. We hope to also implement PvP.

Mother of Myth will be our first title. Our experienced staff has worked on other games under different companies, but this is the first Playnery title.

Q: What was your inspiration for making Mother of Myth?

We didn’t find many games in the mobile market that focused on Greek & Roman Mythology. We were really thought that this would be a great setting for a game and so that’s why we created mother of myth.

Q: Will there be a beta for Mother of Myth anytime soon?

Yes, there will be an early beta preview for backers.

Q:  What brought your studio into the gaming industry?

We were all in the gaming industry from the beginning. Henry, CEO, developed one of the first console game engines called Blue, and made the game, Kingdom Under Fire.  He then found nFlavor, acquired by Gala, and developed one of first free to play PC games, Rappelz. Most of dev team members have been with Henry since the beginning or at nFlavor. We now have a new opportunity, a high quality 3D hardcore RPG on mobile, as mobile graphic chipset technology has gotten better with our business partners such as Qualcomm, and that’s where we are heading now.

Q: Do you have any developer idols?

Yes, Anders Hejlsberg. He designed the framework of VCL, Java, .Net, which made the development speed of software much faster. I think he’s a genius.

Q: Do you have any social networks for your game or your studio that you would like to share with the readers?

The more social network coverage, the better!  Mother of Myth does have a social aspect that players can enjoy the game with their social friends, and especially, they can invite their facebook friends to the game.  And Facebook users are everywhere such as on twitter or on tumblr, so would we like to let people know about our project.
